• Meta has filed a lawsuit against Joy Timeline HK Limited, the developer of CrushAI, an app that uses AI to generate non-consensual, sexualized images from user photos. The company ran ads for CrushAI on Facebook and Instagram, repeatedly bypassing Meta’s ad review process despite violations of its policies. Meta aims to halt CrushAI’s advertising and has introduced new enforcement methods to detect and remove similar ads more effectively.
